The invention provides an electrode device used for electric tree initiation experiment and a sample manufacturing method, and belongs to the technical field of cable insulation material anti-electric-tree performance research. The electrode device is to solve problems that existing experiment technology is large in data dispersivity, a needle tip or a tungsten filament is easy to damage or bend and deflect, sample manufacturing is difficult, and an initiation experiment is low in success rate and wastes materials. In the device, cutter point curvature radius of a blade high-voltage electrode is lower than or equal to 10 [mu]m, two ends of a cutter point are fillets, fillet curvature radius is 3 mm to 5 mm, the middle part of the blade is cut off, and the high-voltage electrode of the blade is connected with a high-voltage power supply through a wire. The high-voltage electrode of the blade and the high-voltage wire are buried between two sheet samples and are hot pressed and molded. A conductive silver adhesives electrode formed by coating conductive silver adhesives on the lower surface of the sample contacts with a metal sheet ground electrode. The method comprises: using laser to cut a double-edge blade to obtain the high-voltage electrode of the blade, using a hot pressing molding method to bury the blade in the sample, and when the sample is used, obtaining a cuboid-shaped sample through cutting. The device and the method are used for electric tree initiation experiments.
