Intelligent evaluation and management of air quality in vehicles

A mechanism is provided for controlling the air quality in vehicles. In response to determining that a speed value of a vehicle is not above the predetermined low speed threshold value, it is determined whether an indoor air quality of an indoor air quality sensor is better than the outdoor air quality from an outside air quality sensor. In response to the indoor air quality is better than the outdoor air quality, a mechanism for aeration control is signaled to use an air-circulating operating mode, wherein the mechanism for ventilation control either remains in the already induced air circulation mode or switches to the air recirculation mode. In response to the indoor air quality is worse than the exterior air quality, the mechanism for ventilation control is signaled to use a fresh air mode, the mechanism for ventilation control either remains in the already induced fresh air mode or switches to the fresh air mode.
