INVESTICIONA ULAGANJA I UBLAŽAVANJE NEGATIVNIH UTICAJA KLIMATSKIH PROMJENA U FUNKCIJI RAZVOJA REPUBLIKE SRPSKE I BiH

Global warming is one of the key problems of mankind. Climate change is increasingly visible in the last few decades, and their negative impact is felt in Republic of Srpska. They directly affect economic sectors such as water management, hydropower, agriculture and consequently the problem of food and energy production. Bearing in mind that the most significant part of greenhouse gases is caused by the burning of fossil fuels, the necessity is the production of energy from renewable sources, whose economic profitability is undeniable. Investing in the production of solar energy, wind farms and other renewable sources would significantly reduce pollution, which is a huge contribution to the protection of the global climate. At the same time, it is pure and economical energy that contributes to the development of the economy.More and more frequent droughts and floods are a major blow to our country's GDP. In the Republic of Srpska, several flood protection systems are under construction at critical points from which large floods started in 2010 and 2014. Cleaning of the channels and digging new ones would further reduce flooding possibilities, and the problem of irrigation of agricultural land would be solved. All of this would contribute to the creation of new jobs, the creation of economic prosperity and the quality of life in our region.
