Comparison between Chinese and English Fricatives

Chinese English learners always think that there is little or even no difference between fricatives in Chinese Putonghua and those in English.Thus there are errors in pronouncing English fricatives.This paper compares English fricatives with Chinese ones and analyzes the errors in Chinese students' pronunciation of English fricatives,which may be helpful in teaching.
