Case study: Cord compression

2011
This is a clinically applied case study of a patient with a suspected cord compression in the cervical and upper thoracic spine. MRI is a very good tool for diagnosing the cause in a patient who has got symptoms of cord compression. It is important to know what actually causes these symptoms to plan treatment. It makes a big difference whether the cause is disc compression, lesion or oedema. MRI can distinguish between all of these.
