Ileo-Anal Reservoir: Our Current Experience

Restorative proctocolectomy with construction of an ileo-anal reservoir has been performed in many patients during the last decade. This technique has proved to be an attractive alternative to the definitive terminal ileostomy in patients suffering from ulcerative colitis or familial polyposis.
