Parallel Short-circuit Current Limiting Device Parameters Design and Experimental Study

This paper presents a new parallel-type short-circuit current limit adjustment device.A unified power quality control strategy is provided to solve the typical issues of the power system.In analyzing the device works such as re-active power compensation,harmonic control and other issues.Meantime,when short-circuit fault occurs in the load side,short-circuit current can be limited to the mini range.The parallel-type short-circuit current limit adjustment de-vice simulation model is established based on PSCAD/EMTDC simulation software.Parallel short-circuit current limit adjustment device is experimented.Experimental and simulation results validate the correctness and validity of the proposed main circuit topology and control strategy.
