The invention relates to compressors, provides a method for suppressing low-frequency vibration of a rotor type compressor and aims to solve the problem of poor suppression effects of existing methods for suppressing low-frequency vibration of single-rotor compressors. The method includes: step one, according to the number of poles of the compressor and phase relationship between speed ripples and three-phase current of a compressor motor, calculating a phase difference between an electrical angle zero position and a mechanical angle zero position of the compressor, wherein the phase difference is an angle of a point smallest in speed ripple; step two, in output of torque current, overlapping torque adjustment current same in phase as a gas resistance moment curve of a gas cavity of the compressor on the basis of the phase difference to enable equal stress of an output torque and a compressor rotor, wherein a torque adjustment current value is a current value corresponding to a low speed ripple. The method is applicable to the single-rotor compressors.
