First Experimental Demonstration of the Time and Spectral Optical Aggregation Solution

We experimentally demonstrate the feasibility of the TISA concept for the first time. Transmission of both DP-QPSK and DP-16QAM CO-OFDM bursts is performed through the TISA network. BER versus OSNR measurements show less than 1 dB penalty for both formats.
