PROPERTY OF DIELECTRIC DISPERSION IN RADIO FREQUENCY RANGE

The dielectric dispersion curves of the dry and water saturated rock samples are given based on the experimental results of 400 rock samples. The power law for frequency\|dependent dispersion of the dielectric constant in the range of 20～270 MHz is found. The degree of dielectric dispersion is affected by water saturation salinity of water and clay quantity.
