On valence gluons in heavy vector quarkonia: Implications for spectra and decays

We consider, within an adiabatic approach applied to a constituent gluon, bound to a pair of heavy quarks, the properties of the lowest vector hybrid QQg-mesons and estimate the effects of their mixing with low-lying cc-charmonia on masses, leptonic widths, and interaction with hadrons constructed of light quarks.
