Juegos de poder: La estrategia detrás de la intervención en Libia

El articulo analiza el conflicto en Libia a traves del estudio de los intereses particulares de cada una de las potencias occidentales que participaron en la intervencion en el pais. El texto presenta una descripcion de las alianzas desarrolladas con los rebeldes y especialmente entre Estados Unidos y Al-Qaeda en torno al objetivo de la caida del gobierno de Gaddafi . Asi mismo, se evaluan los objetivos de intervencion con respecto a los recursos en territorio libio y por ultimo se analizan los desafios que enfrenta el pais y el gobierno de transicion despues de la intervencion. Abstract The article analyses the conflict in Libya through the study of the interests of the western powers involved in the military intervention in the country. The article also presents a description of the partnerships developed with the rebels, and especially between the U.S and Al-Qaeda around the goal of overthrowing Gaddafi ’s regime. It also assesses the objectives of the intervention with respect to the resources available on Libyan territory and fi nally discusses the challenges the country and the transitional government face after the intervention.
