Adjuvant therapies should be included in the repertoire of every aesthetic surgeon. In Volume 1 of this Manual, several basic statements are made on this subject and put up for discussion. This subject will be treated again in Volume 2, which contains a critical analysis of the adjuvant therapies currently available.
