Cell Typing by Computer
1984
For the Ninth International Histocompatibility Workshop, a computer cell typing program was developed, as was done for the previous Workshop. Its main purpose was to assign phenotypes to all individuals submitted to the Workshop by a unified cell typing based on the reactions of all Workshop sera. In contrast to the Workshop concept that all analyses should be based on families, this cell typing was done on an individual basis lest some serological problems be obscured.
