Particle beam irradiation apparatus

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly accurate and a low cost particle beam irradiation apparatus that is compact, excellent in weight balance and not requiring adjustment of emittance asymmetry.SOLUTION: A particle beam irradiation apparatus S includes: an incident accelerator 2 for accelerating charged particles generated in an ion source 2A; an annular accelerator 1 for accelerating a charged particle beam sent from the incident accelerator 2 to a predetermined energy; and an irradiation field formation unit 4 which forms an irradiation field for irradiating an irradiation object J with the charged particle beam emitted from the annular accelerator 1 by an irradiation part 4p.
