Мифы о науке в массовом сознании россиян

This article analyzes the image of science that has developed in the social consciousness of modern Russians, wearing typical mythological features. It is shown that this image is clearly controversial and conservative, identified the main prerequisites for its formation and transformation. It is concluded that the existing myths about science it is amenable to, in connection with which science must establish a productive dialogue with society.
