Design of Fault Diagnosis System for Steam Turbine Based on UML

Intelligent fault diagnostic systems have become a new hotspot of research with the wave of intelligent manufacturing, effective modeling method is an important means to build a reliable diagnosis system. Aiming at the current problems such as the various system functions, complex structure and expansibility, a new method to model the fault diagnosis system of steam turbine with UML is presented. In this paper, the use case diagram, class diagram, function decomposition diagram, activity diagram, sequence diagram, and deployment diagram of steam turbine fault diagnosis system are constructed by UML, and the diagnosis process is described completely, which provides a development framework for developers. It is proved that the modeling method is reliable and effective by the development of the research group.
