Enthalpies of solution of octahydro-1,3,5,7-tetranitro-1,3,5,7-tetrazocine (hmx) in acetone

Abstract The compound octahydro-1,3,5,7-tetranitro-1,3,5,7-tetrazocine ( hmx ) exists in four polymorphic forms α, β, γ, and δ. Each of these polymorphs has been prepared and their relative thermochemical stabilities have been determined by measuring their enthalpies of solution in acetone at 293.15 K.
