Clima organizacional en el Policlínico “José Luis Dubrocq”

Introduction: The Primary Health Care, as a main axis of the Cuban health system, is not exempt from weaknesses and, in view of the current requirements, it must face challenges and changing projects in a conscious, creative and planned way. The evaluation of the organizational climate at its facilities is essential so that the management systems have the necessary tools to face processes of changes and to fulfill the assigned mission. Objective : To assess the organizational climate at "Jose Luis Dubrocq polyclinic, at Matanzas province. Methods : A descriptive and transversal research was carried out from January to May 2017 with an universe of 154 workers belonging to the polyclinic. The sample was treated proportionally and was made up of 80 workers distributed as follows: Department 48, Group 17 and Basic Work Group 15. Three dimensions were evaluated: organizational behavior, organizational structure and management style in three strata: Department, Group, and Basic Group of Work Results : Dimensions such as organizational behavior with an average value of 7.6, organizational structure with 6.6 and management style with 7.3 were perceived as adequate organizational climate, as well as the global climate with 7. Conclusions : The organizational climate of the Polyclinic "Jose Luis Dubrocq" was evaluated as adequate by the workers. The Basic Work Group stratum, the category of work conditions and the nursing occupation were evaluated as being at risk.
