Особенности поведенческого фенотипа мышей линии BALB/c

BALB/c mice were used as idiopathic model of autism spectrum disorders (ASD). According to specific tests for evaluation of ASD symptoms, BALB/c mice demonstrate low level of interaction with socially significant stimuli and even avoidance of this interaction, violation of recognition and, especially, recognition of odors, strengthening of disturbing and stereotypical behavior. Therefore, BALB/c mice might be used to study pathogenesis of ASD and its phenotypic manifestations as well as correction treatment.
