The present study verified the reliability indices of critical power model parameters (CP) in cycle ergometer. Twenty male volunteers participated in the study. The CP and anaerobic work capacity (AWC) were estimated from four predictive tests results (PT-1). After PT-1, the same work rates were randomly performed (PT-2) for reliability coefficient indices calculation. Analysis of variance was used to compare the respective estimates. The intraclass correlation coefficient (ICC) was used to verify the reliability of pairs of estimates. There were no significant differences among CP and AWC values when using the same equation in PT-1 and PT-2 ( P > 0.05). The ICC values showed that the CP estimate presents high reliability, while AWC does not present the same pattern.
