Research of Substation Equipment Abnormity Identification Based on Image Processing

With the unceasing improvement of the on-site comprehensive automation level of substation and increasing number of unattended substation, the work efficiency of substation tour-inspection should be higher and higher. It is crucially important to detect equipment failure and hidden dangers timely and effectively. The paper disposed the acquired equipment image with the purpose to quickly and accurately detect equipment abnormity for forewarning of equipment fault and hidden dangers. It is of important and practical application significance for the safe and reliable operation of the power grid.
