The invention aims at providing a vital sign search and rescue robot in order to solve the rescue problems that the safety of rescue workers cannot be ensured in a disaster spot where the situation is complicated or the rescue workers cannot enter a narrow space in a ruin. The search and rescue robot comprises a first trunk with an auxiliary walking part, a second trunk and a third trunk with a walking part. The first trunk is provided with a hemispherical signal receiver for receiving signals. The auxiliary walking part is provided with an upper steering engine base, an upper steering engine and a plurality of auxiliary walking limbs. The second trunk is provided with a controller for receiving the signals transmitted from the signal receiver, a plurality of probers for probing vital sign information and a storage battery for supplying power. The third trunk is provided with a base for supporting the search and rescue robot, a folding ground walking wheel set for walking on the ground and a plurality of walking limbs for walking.
