Intelligent Agents as Support in the Process of Disease Prevention Through Health Records

The information generated by the clinical histories of the different public and private health institutions demonstrates the need for the proper management of the large volume of information generated by each individual within a society. Having, analyzing, measuring and evaluating all this information is of vital importance for the care and prevention of health. Multi-Agent Systems (MAS) have been characterized by offering a possible solution in the development of complex problems. The development of any type of software requires methods and tools that facilitate the obtaining of a final product. With the implementation of Intelligent Agents, it will be possible to analyze and manipulate the information generated in the health area. This article presents only one agent of a Multi-Agent Systems model where its function is to provide support in the disease prevention process.
