Effets des interactions dans l'endommagement d'un milieu fragile. Formulation non locale

We analyse the importance of interactions on the macroscopic damage process of a microcracked material. The macroscopic damage variable d is obtained via the homogenization of an elementary cell. Two terms appear in its expression: the apparent crack density and an interaction coefficient. Then, Kachanov's method is applied to study the inception of damage localization. From homogenization, the continuum description in which the damage variable is non-local is justified Nous evaluons par une methode approchee le role joue par les interactions dans l'endommagement macroscopique d'un milieu microfissure bidimensionnel et periodique. L'endommagement macroscopique d est obtenu par equivalence en energie avec le modele micro-mecanique. Celle-ci fait apparaitre deux termes: la densite apparente de microfissures et un coefficient d'interaction. La methode de Kachanov est ensuite appliquee a l'etude de la localisation de l'endommagement. Une analogie est etablie avec le modele continu ou l'endommagement est defini de maniere non locale
