Two-step process for production of oxime

PURPOSE: To economically and easily process the second step in particular of the two-step process for preparation of oximes, which comprises in a primary step ammoximating a carbonyl compd. with H 2 O 2 and NH 3 in the presence of a catalist and in a second step oximating the residual carbonyl compd. CONSTITUTION: In the second step of two-step process for production of oximes, the residual carbonyl compds. are oximated with a soln. of hydroxylamine obtained by oxidizing ammonia and H 2 O 2 , having a concn. of 0.01-3 wt.%, in such a way as to have a molar ratio of hydroxylamine/carbonyl compd. of 0.95-3.
