Production method of rare sugar

An object of the present invention is to provide an efficient method for producing a rare sugar using a microorganism, a culture of the microorganism, or a processed product of the culture. The present invention uses a microorganism that produces D-psicose-6-phosphate from a sugar having enhanced D-psicose-6-phosphate phosphatase activity. The present invention relates to a method for producing D-psicose by using a microorganism and a method for producing D-alloheptulose by using a microorganism having enhanced allulose-6-phosphate 3-epimerase activity.
