Large Solid-core Single Mode Bragg Fiber Amplifiers

This paper designs a kind of large solid-core Bragg fibers, which can be used as large solid-core double mode fiber amplifiers, and it can make the manufacture of fibers simplify. Because of the large solid core, the laser can directly pump into fibers, and the pump light can match the signal light. So this design leads to the improvement of coupling effect and the higher power of fiber amplifiers.
