The invention provides a method and device for receiving and processing a real-time transport protocol data packet. The method comprises: dividing the packet switch (PS) service data in the received real-time transport protocol data packet into groups according to the PS service data, wherein the PS service data in the same group has the same block number; and for each PS service data in the same group, inserting the PS service data into the queen bearing the PS service data, wherein each PS service data in the same group is inserted into the same position of each queue. The technical scheme provided by the invention helps to solve the technical problems of reduced PS service transmission efficiency and the like caused by a block number reselection process in related arts, and the PS service data is free from the block number reselection process, thus the PS service data transmission efficiency is improved.
