BioéthiqueOnline: Towards a Bilingual (English-French) Bioethics Community / Vers une communauté bilingue (anglais-français) en bioéthique

BioethiqueOnline is a bilingual (French and English), international, open access, online academic journal that publishes editor-reviewed theoretical, conceptual and empirical research in bioethics. A collaborative endeavour between the Bioethics Programme and the Bioethics Student Association (AEBiUM) at the University of Montreal, the journal seeks to be more than simply another academic publication. Using a completely online platform, BioethiqueOnline will bring together scholarly and professional resources to help foster the development of a robust, collaborative and bilingual bioethics community in Montreal and across Quebec, but also more generally in Canada and internationally. Alongside our core content of academic publications, the journal will also experiment with diverse multimedia content: • audio and video presentations and discussions; • an employment page for students and bioethics professionals (primarily in Quebec/Canada); • a list of local and international bioethics related events and news; • a forum open to the public for discussing the issues in different publications.
