Capacidad biodegradativa de cepas del género Vibrio sobre una mezcla de hidrocarburos

2002
Biodegrading capacity of 8 strains of Vibrio genus, obtained from stock from the Microbiology Laboratory of Biological Research Institute of Universidad Veracruzana, Mex. (IIBUV), samples collected from contaminated area with hydrocarbon, were analysed. The strains were reactive in Bushnell-Haas agar. They are incubated at 30 oC, for 24 hours to obtain growth. Later are resow in Erlenmeyer flasks with 125 ml of Bushnell-Haas Medium and carried to shaker bath at 30 oC and 120 rpm for a 24 – 48 hours period. Following growth, 3% of hydrocarbon mixture (automotor oil), was aggregate and return at shaker bath, for period of 15 days. The original sample of hydrocarbon previously was analyze by Gass Acoplated Cromatography (GAC), determining a predominace of alcanes. Later, the samples treated with the hydrocarbon, at 15 –30 days was analysed by GAC to determine the grade of transformation of hydrocarbon aggregated. The results point out what the original product was transform to naphth alenes mainly, and fluorenes, dibenzothiophenes and other short chains alkanes.
