An Accurate Algorithm to Quantitatively Identify the Performance Degradation Caused by Linear Crosstalk

A new algorithm to estimate the signal impairment by linear crosstalk is proposed. Experiments demonstrate the linear relationship between the Q penalty and crosstalk indicator with R 2 =0.98 under various transmission distances and conditions.
