One-pot Synthesis of 3,4-dihydropyrimidin-2(1H)-one Using KH_2PO_4 as a Catalyst

A series of Biginelli compounds were synthesized using KH2PO4 as a catalyst.This simple method provided the titled compounds in 86%～95% yields by the reaction of aromatic aldehydes with 1,3carbonyl compound and urea.
