The utility model provides a tight coupling exhaust manifold and catalyst assembly and aims at solving the problem that a catalyst is far from an air cylinder cover and an emission standard cannot be satisfied when a vehicle is in cold start. According to the technical scheme, an air inlet flange and inlets of four bending pipe air channels are welded together; outlets of the bending pipe air channels are distributed in a shape like the Chinese character tian and fixed at an inlet of a clamshell structure; the catalyst is fixed at an outlet of the clamshell structure; the catalyst is in sealing connection with a rear end cover; an outlet flange and an outlet pipe are sequentially fixed at the lower end of the rear end cover. The tight coupling exhaust manifold and catalyst assembly has the advantages shortening the distance between a catalytic converter and the air cylinder cover due to the fact that original flange connection replaces a tight coupling structure which is welded by the stainless bending pipe air channels, the clamshell structure and the catalyst and enabling the catalyst to be rapidly ignited and reducing discharged exhaust waste caused by excessively low temperature during the cold start.
