Ketidakadilan Gender Dalam Novel Kartini Karya Abidah El Khaleqy: Kajian Sastra Feminis Dan Relevansinya Sebagai Bahan Ajar Sastra Di SMP

The purpose of this research is: (1) describe the structure of Kartini’s novel by Abidah El Khalieqy, (2) describe gender injustice in Kartini’s novel novel by Abidah El Khalieqy on feminist literature study, and (3) describe the relevance of Abidah El Khalieqy’s novel Kartini literature as literary teaching material in Junior High School. The method used in this study is deskriptive qualitative, the research strategy used is a fixed case study. Data collection techniques are carried out by content analysis techniques, namely library research, data validtion techniques wthit triangulation teory. The data analysis technique used in this study in the method of reading semiotic models, manely heuristic and hermeneutic readings. The results of this study are: (1) the strukture of Kartini’s novel consists of themes of struggle, mixe flow, consisting of main character and several other figures, and has a cultural setting, time setting, and background, (2) gender injustice in Kartini’s novel by Abidah El Khalieqy’s work consists of gender and the marginalization, gender and subordination, gender and stereotypes, and gender and double burden, (3) the results relevan with liteary learning in Junior High School in KD 3.12 class VIII, literary criteria include three aspects, language, psychology and cultural background.
