The paper treats external migration from the region of West Herzegovina.... The author examines migration during the Turkish advance the migrationary and demographic picture of West Herzegovina during the Austro-Hungarian period and during the first and second Yugoslavia. She likewise treats the connection between external migration and the ethnic situation in West Herzegovina.
