Ru-Pd/Sn-Sb/Ti电极性能表征及其在废水处理中的应用

2010
Palladium (Pd) is doped into traditional ruthenium oxide (RuO2) electrode to prepare a new dimensionally stable anode (DSA) electrode. This electrode is consisted of Sn/Sb oxide as its inter-layer and Ru/Pd oxide as its surface-layer (Ru-Pd/Sn-Sb/Ti). This electrode is used to dispose nitrobenzene (NB) wastewater. The degradation and conversion of NB is preliminarily studied and the optimal operating conditions of the electrode are ascertained as follows: the sintered temperature is 450℃, the coating oxides proportion is n (Ru): n (Pd)=0.65:1, the numbers of the Sn/Sb mid-layers and the Ru/Pd surface layers are 5 and 18 respectively. The micro-morphology test and electrochemical test show that this electrode has better catalytic-activity, longer service-life and stronger bonding and finer grains. The NB water treatment experiment shows the Ru-Pd/Sn-Sb/Ti electrode can effectively remove and decompose the organics.
