Geological Characteristics and Ore Prospecting Marks of Qiansui Iron Deposit in Xianggelila

The iron deposit is located in the Zhongdian metallogenic belt,Sanjiang metallogeny domain,which has excellent mineralization conditions.The ore bodies in the deposit mainly occur along the contact zone of the intermediate-acid intrusive porphyry(porphyrite) and Tumugou formation marble,which is belongs to skam type iron deposit.The length of I ore body is 940m and the average thickness is 39.88m with stable extension,the boundary is not closed,it has a considerable potentiality for prospecting.The ore deposit is mainly Fe,the associated elements of Fe are S、Cu、Pb、Zn、Au、Ag.The ore bodies are characterized by simple texture of ore and enrich grade.High-intensity magnetic anomaly,limonite,magnetite,skarn and structural fracture zone are the major prospecting criteria.
