Cadres intermédiaires en grande distribution. Quels facilitateurs de bienfaits pour les managers de rayon dans un contexte collaboratif

This article investigates the notion of greater well-being at work in a context of collabora-tive logistics in mass-market retailing industry. To answer the research objectives, our approach is mainly qualitative and exploratory. The investigation takes place in three companies from the mass-market retailing industry, with section managers. The case-study methodology was chosen and several semi-directive interviews were led. The results show that, if the section managers do not inevitably need to understand well their role so that the collaborative approach succeeds on the simple technical plan, on the managerial plan the feeling of greater well-being at work and a better presence in the work, or «the emergence», of the section manager are increased by the clear and explicit understanding of his or her role as well as by its recognition by the hierarchy.
