Alterações patológicas do sistema genital de cutias (Dasyprocta aguti Linnaeus, 1758) fêmeas criados em cativeiro

In order to contribute information about reproductive alterations involving wild animals was mdeveloped this work aims to explore the nature, location and frequency of macroscopic and histological pathological changes of organs that make up the reproductive system of female agouti (agouti Dasyprocta Linnaeus, 1758). Were evaluated by histopathological examination of the reproductive tract death naturally 38 and sent to the Laboratory of Veterinary Pathology agoutis, from February 2009 to July 2013. Pathological findings included four cases of endometritis (22%), three of pyometra (22%), two of retained placenta (22%), one fetal maceration (22%), one of obstructed labor (22%) and afuncionais ovaries.
