The market is divided into the following five segments: refrigerated warehouses; supermarkets; unitary equipment; walk-in coolers; and small grocery stores. A screening methodology was used to identify market segments representing the best opportunities for natural gas use. Refrigerated warehouses and supermarkets were identified as the best market opportunities for natural gas based on attainable load, economics, market infrastructure, and technology considerations.
