CLAY BRICK PAVING OF SUB-DIVISIONAL ROADS

1985
The durability of any kiln fired clay brick paved road undoubtedly depends on adequacy of design, material quality, and the proficiency of laying each component within the total structure for the expected traffic load. Materials need to be carefully selected and evaluated, and on site quality control and man management need to be of the highest order. For these facets to be achieved the engineer in charge requires to be conversant with each phase of the clay brick paving laying procedure to achieve the overall desired results. (Author/TRRL)
