Reason of 220kV Main Transformer Folding Screen Discharge and Corrective Actions

The fault of the dendritic discharge occurred in 220 kV transformer is introduced. The folding screen of dendritic discharge and basic process are analyzed. The main cause of failure is demonstrated. Combined with the practice of the transformer,the measures to prevent folding screen dendritic discharge fault are presented.
