The treatment of condylar fractures in children

: 34 children with fractures of the condylar process were treated by intermaxillary wiring with subsequent functional therapy and/or functional appliances. 17 patients were treated by means of a functional appliance only. The results indicate the advantages of the treatment by means of functional appliances.
