Borassus fruit fiber reinforced composite: A review

Abstract The availability of natural fibers is plenty all over the globe. As natural fiber composites have high specific strength, modulus, light weight, low cost, recyclability, biodegradability, less hazards and non-abrasive in nature, they are used in lot of engineering applications. This paper summarizes the research works published in the field of natural fiber reinforced polymer composites to explore its physical, chemical and mechanical properties.
