Understanding the Social Interactions of Students with Special Educational Needs in Inclusive Education at Secondary Schools

The education system, especially in the field of special education, has evolved by presenting various learning opportunities to unearth one's potential through students' social interaction. Thus, this article aims to understand how social interactions on students with special educational needs in mainstream schools. Discussions will focus on the concept of social interaction from the inclusive education landscape and the need for social interaction in the cycle of socio -ecological systems. The ability of students in social interaction provides more positive opportunities to educational institutions especially students. This is in line with the Special Education Division's target to increase the enrollment of students with special educational needs in the mainstream by 2025.
