Synthesis and Characterization of Hydroxyapatite Nanoparticles for Medicine Utilization: HRTEM, FTIR, NMR, XRD Study of Hydroxyapatite Nanoparticles Ultrastructure

[Objective] To prepare a kind of hydroxyapatite nanoparticle for medical utilization and to observe its characterization. [Methods] The nanoparticles of hydroxyapatite (HA) had been synthesized using normal (oil in water) surfactant. Ultrastnicture of nanoparticles was studied through HRTEM, F’T’IR, NMR, XRD. [Results] The experimental results showed that the nanoparticles were general of larger size 10~30 nm in length and 5~10 ma in width. In the SAED pattern, the HA nanoparticles as prepared were polycrystalline. But there was defect lattice in HA nanoparticles. [Conclusion] A kind of new HA nanoparticles for medical utilization was synthesed successfully.
