Ipomoea pantanalensis , a new species of Ipomoea L. (Convolvulaceae) from the Pantanal, Brazil

A new species Ipomoea pantanalensis J. R. I. Wood & C. Urbanetz is described and illustrated. It is one of a small number of species of Ipomoea endemic to the seasonally flooded wetlands of the Pantanal region.
