Long-term Ecological Monitoring in Schools and Colleges.

The paper reviews the value and difficulties of long-term ecological monitoring studies undertaken in schools and colleges. Successful studies are presented as examples of what can be done. This is followed by a discussion of points to consider when setting up a long-term monitoring project.
