Comment by the Vice-President for exhibitions

In deciding to recommend to the Council that the 'Members only' morning at the Physics Exhibition should be discontinued the Exhibitions Committee did in fact take into full consideration the point made by Prof. Rose-lnnes and reached its conclusion with some reluctance. The decision is based on the fact that of the 3000 Members estimated to have visited the Exhibition only about 500 came on the first morning, which suggests that this session is little more attractive to them than any other.
